Andy and Cecil is a collaboration iwht Karen Bystedt of the “Lost Warhols”. Karen Bystedt took original photographs of Andy Warhol in the factory in the 80s, and after believing she’d lost the negatives for over 20 years, found them in the back of her storage unit.
“The Lost Warhols” is a collaboration series where world renowned artists paint on top of these original Warhol portraits.
This piece is a commemoration of Andy’s close relationship with his great dane, Cecil, and the unconditionally loving relationships that exist between man and dog.
Andy’s jacket is covered in meticulously detailed Louis Vuitton logos and Cecil sports a Chrome Hearts inspired dog collar
